Programs

Infants

Our goal when caring for infants is to stimulate language development, physical growth and positive self esteem. Infants spend the majority of their time on their backs. We practice tummy time allowing them to lay on their stomachs while awake and supervised. This will help your baby develop neck muscles, arms, chest and encourage motor skills. Tummy time will help build baby’s strength needed for sitting, rolling, crawling and walking. We encourage infants to develop the use of simple signs to express their needs and communicate emotions and desires. This facilitates our ability to ensure their needs are provided.

Toddlers

(12 - 24 months)

Our goal when caring for toddlers is to develop positive self image, increasing attention span, motor skill development, physical development and balanced nutrition. We help promote and encourage toddlers to speak using phrases and sentences during reading time with our staff. We want to achieve great milestone strides from first steps to potty training. We want to nurture the growing curiosity, energy and enthusiasm toddlers have through fun, learning and routine activities. The daily plan for toddlers includes story time, outdoor play and motor skills development which includes running, dancing, kicking and other controlled motions.

Small Kiddos

(2 - 3)

Our goal is provide the child opportunities to make friends, get excited with other children, follow simple instructions and point to things in books.

They will be able to name the most familiar things around us as a way to increase communication skills.

They will also learn how to build towers of 6 or more blocks.  Our daycare provides large play area where they will learn movements of kicking and throwing balls, pedaling a tricycle  and running.  They will work with puzzles of 4 or more pieces and learn to make believe with dolls, animals and people.

We assist children to be able to communicate their needs using simple phrases.  They will learn the concern for crying friend and show a wide range of emotions.  We may work with families and the kids to potty train when they are ready.

Preschool

(3 - 5)

Our goal for caring for pre-school age children includes relationship building, critical thinking exercises, safe social interactions, sensory and language experiences. Your child will be instructed in letters, numbers, shapes, colors and weather. Children will work on gross and fine motor skills as well as learning to follow directions. They will work in small groups to develop language and sensory experiences. We also provide experiences exploring their natural surroundings. Story time is used to teach the importance of good manners, etiquette, inclusion and character development.
